In 1984 we started our journey in the bulk handling business by joining company

H W Carlsen AB (one of the leading experts within the bulk handling business).

In summer 2004 Carmatec AB was founded – a newborn in the business, but with vast experience!

After the activities at H W Carlsen AB were closed down in Malmoe in 2004 and transferred to other companies within the F.L.Smidth Materials Handling Group, we decided to continue with the business, on our own as we have been doing for more than 20 years by now.

Same customers, same suppliers, same technology in a new package with new ideas and solutions – that means new ideas with genuine knowledge!
